Like the 76 system, the new premium KÖMMERLING 88 system covers new horizons in respect of thermal insulation, security and stability.
KÖMMERLING 88 is a new generation of profiles with an optimal depth of 88 mm, with a modern design and perfect proportions. A highly efficient heat protection system with a middle located seal and 7 chambers. Three sealing planes in all areas (even in the wing and frame fold) provide better protection against heavy rain or strong wind pressure. The innovative seal in the rebate acts as an additional heat protector. The thickness of the glazing varies from 32 to 52 mm.
Thanks to the better statics, larger window wings than the previous ones can be designed.
Even in its standard version, the new system fully meets the requirements for a low-energy house. It is also available in aluminum cap, AluFusion and "passive house" versions. The Uf values vary according to the actual customer solution in the range of 1.0 to ≤0.8 W / (m²K).
This allows for both great freedom of shapes and colors when looking for an architectural solution based on the options for foiling in standard and wood decors or with an aluminum surface.
The overall intelligent design of the new system surprisingly increases reported values in respect of heat and noise insulation, security and economic feasibility.
The system is also an excellent example in environmental aspect: the KÖMMERLING brand represents the first substantial worldwide manufacturer of window profiles, which, along with recycled materials, in its production uses in the "fresh" mixture exclusively and only lead-free PVC with "green" stabilizers on calcium-zinc base.

System 88 is 7-chamber, with 3 seals in the whole system (including the sills) even in its standard version.

Thermal insulation - Its heat transfer coefficient is 0.95 W / (m2K), i.e. it is also suitable for passive houses. Additional insulating inserts are also provided, which further decrease the heat transfer coefficient of up to 0.88 W / (m2K). For even better insulation ProEnergyTec profiles can be used.

Stability - With the KÖMMERLING System 88, the material is distributed in the areas that must bear the weight of the wing and this leads to its exceptional stability. It allows the use of triple glazing up to 52 mm thick, as well as the construction of windows with extremely large glass surfaces. Along with the additional influx of warmth and light, it offers the advantage of designing windows for architecturally unique buildings.

Sound insulation - The system has excellent sound insulation values reaching up to 48dB / sound insulation category 5 /

Freedom in color selection -️ The new 88 mm profile system can be ordered in a wide color palette. You have a huge choice of 88 different colors and decors of the profiles. In addition, KÖMMERLING88 is available in combination with aluminum in 3 options: aluminum cap AluClip, aluminum functional cap AluClip Pro and additional aluminum wing AddOn.
