KÖMMERLING 88 is a new profile generation with an optimum profile depth of 88mm, a modern design and perfect proportions. A high performance heat protection system with medium seal and 7 chambers. Three sealing planes in all areas (even in the fold of the sash and frame) take care of better protection against heavy rain or strong wind pressure. The innovative gasket in the halyard has the effect of additional heat protection. The thickness of the glazing varies from 32 – 52 mm.
Thanks to better statics, larger window sashes than before can be realized.
Even in its standard version, the new system fully meets the requirements for a low-energy house. It is also available in aluminium cap, AluFusion and Passive House variants. The Uf-values vary according to the solution in the range 1,0 to ≤0,8 W/(m²K).
This allows both a great freedom of shapes and colours in finding an architectural solution based on the possibilities of foiling in standard and wood decors or with an aluminium surface.
The intelligent overall design of the new system exceeds the reported values in terms of thermal and acoustic insulation, security and cost-effectiveness to an unusual degree.
The system is also exemplary in ecological terms: the KÖMMERLING brand is the first significant window profile manufacturer worldwide to exclusively and exclusively use lead-free PVC with “green” calcium-zinc-based stabilizers in its production alongside recycled materials.
